Amity Kulis, Psy.D.
Dr. Amity Kulis is a Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider in Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Magna Cum Laude as a Commonwealth Honors Program Scholar. She subsequently earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, with a concentration in Children, Adolescents and Families (CAF).
Dr. Kulis completed post-doctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology with an emphasis on treating children with developmental, intellectual, learning and executive functioning challenges. Prior to that, she completed internship training at local community mental health centers where she provided individual and group therapies for children of all ages. In addition, Dr. Kulis has experience working within children in school settings.
In her work with children she collaborates with families, employing an eclectic approach that utilizes strategies to help meet the specific needs of each family she serves.
Since completing her training, Dr. Kulis has worked in private practices, clinics and schools, conducting comprehensive assessments on children ranging from toddlers through young adults. In addition, Dr. Kulis has had the opportunity to consult with various school systems by attending team meetings, conducting observations of programs and providing in-service trainings for staff.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also likes cooking, arts and crafts, hiking with her dog and traveling.
