Rebecca Dautoff, Psy.D.

Pediatric Neuropsychologist

Dr. Rebecca Dautoff provides comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological (projective) evaluation services for children, adolescents, and young adults who have complex presentations with a wide range of concerns, including attention deficit disorders, psychiatric disorders, intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Dr. Dautoff places great emphasis on adapting her approach to a child’s developmental stage and providing a testing environment that is approachable and comfortable. She also values collaboration with families and outside providers to facilitate supports and services that are tailored to each child’s specific needs.

Dr. Dautoff received her BA from Wellesley College. For several years following graduation, she worked as a researcher at Mass General Hospital studying the impact of aging on emotion. Dr. Dautoff received her Psy.D. from William James College in Massachusetts, where her coursework and practicum training focused on clinical work with children and adolescents and on assessment. Before joining NESCA, Dr. Dautoff worked as the Assistant Director of the Brenner Center, where she directed the training of pre-doctoral interns. She has extensive experience working with children and adults with complex trauma and with diagnosing autism spectrum disorders in children with co-morbid psychiatric disorders. Dr. Dautoff has worked in a variety of private and public-school settings, including the Carroll School and the Commonwealth School.

Dr. Dautoff grew up in Seattle and enjoys trips back home to see her family. She currently resides in Newton, Massachusetts, with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
