Per Diem Real-life Skills and Executive Function Coach

Since 2021, Shantille Deriger has been an integral member of the transition services team at NESCA, providing executive function and life skills coaching to neurodivergent teens and young adults nationwide. A Licensed Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, she holds a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania, and is known for helping clients develop the executive function skills needed to manage everyday activities.
Ms. Deriger’s approach is both holistic and collaborative. She is passionate about empowering young people to thrive in their natural environments and works closely with families to overcome barriers with practical real-time strategies and tools. When sensory and motor challenges arise, she draws on her extensive experience to address these issues alongside executive function difficulties.
Before joining NESCA, Ms. Deriger primarily worked in school-based settings, supporting students from preschool through 12th grade. She also gained valuable experience in a pediatric outpatient clinic, partnering with families of children ages 2 to 16 to address delays in developmental milestones and develop effective at-home solutions.
With a particular focus on clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, and mental health conditions, Ms. Deriger brings a wealth of knowledge in motor, sensory processing, and executive functioning skills. Her collaborative, solution-oriented coaching empowers clients to achieve their academic and functional goals.
Ms. Deriger is passionate about making a positive impact on young people’s lives by fostering greater independence and success through practical, real-world coaching.
